Dale 'Rage' Resteghini To Shoot GN'R Tour Document
World-renowned music video director Dale "Rage" Resteghini has announced his new collaboration with Axl Rose and Guns N' Roses. Rage has been hired by Axl to document and shoot stills for the band's current South American tour.
Because of his unique eye, Rage has been asked throughout the years to shoot for metal and rock magazines and bands. However, due to his extremely busy schedule, he's not had the time to focus on anything other than videos. Axl Rose - New York's Hottest Party Boy
It was just after 8 a.m. on Feb. 12, and for the last three hours Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose had been knocking back cocktails of vodka, cranberry juice and champagne at hip NYC lounge Greenhouse. Hot off the stage from an electric two-hour gig at the John Varvatos store on the Bowery, Rose still had enough energy to keep the party going with his entourage of 20 or more rockers and hangers-on.
“It’s kind of his thing,” said Greenhouse co-owner Barry Mullineaux of Rose’s early after-partying that morning (Mullineaux later named a rose-colored champagne cocktail “the Axl Rose” in honor of the rocker’s wild morning at his club.). “His shows always run late, and he’s a true rock star so he liked to have after-parties after all of his shows.”

Slash’s 1979 Love Letter to “My Michelle” Hits the Web
A recently unearthed love letter written by a then-14-year-old Slash in 1979 proves that before the guitarist was providing riffs for Guns n’ Roses and Velvet Revolver, he was a kid writing cheesy compliments and doodling pot leafs on looseleaf paper to impress girls.
The blog Letters of Note, via Hard Rock Memorabilia, posted Slash’s handwritten missive to Michelle Young last week, giving us a glimpse of Saul Hudson’s teenage mind — he writes about how he regrets that his love of the guitar ruined his relationship with Young, who would later be the inspiration behind the Appetite For Destruction track “My Michelle.”
