Space Bee and Gaia to Support GN'R in Lima
Everything is being set in Lima for the famous rock band Guns n' Roses arrival; the band, which will give a concert in Lima on March 25, will have two local groups as supporting bands, that is, Space Bee and Gaia.
“Opening the night for Guns n' Roses is very important. And in fact many bands have started playing because of their influence; this is a challenge,” say the members of Gaia, who are currently preparing a new production.
In addition, Space Bee will feature songs from their latest album, called It’s Alive. “We are going to sing these songs and also to promote them,” they say.

Video Footage Of Rio De Janeiro Stage Collapse
A scheduled GUNS N' ROSES show in a stadium in Rio De Janeiro on Sunday (March 14) was scrapped when heavy rains caused the stage to collapse. Although there were reports of a fatality, this eventually turned out to be false, according to a Twitter post from the band's frontman, Axl Rose.
Video footage of the stage collapse (courtesy of opening act SEBASTIAN BACH's drummer Bobby Jarzombek) can be viewed below.
Although Rose mentioned the possibility of rescheduling, at press time there had been no announcement of a new date.

For Guns N' Roses, London Called Early
By Duff McKagan
I am in London this week looking at a bunch of unsigned bands for a new venture that I am part of. It is fresh and fun to see some of these bands: startled kids with huge and hopeful eyes that see a world that is theirs for the taking, energetic, unjaded, and full of piss and vinegar. I need to see this now and again to remind me what music should be all about. It also reminds me of the first time I came over here: It was with GN'R in July of '87, a few weeks before Appetite for Destruction came out.
The year before, we had put out the Live Like a Suicide EP. This fast and furious collection of songs sort of just died everywhere else in the world except for the UK. Unbeknownst to us, a cult following of fans was building over here who were chomping at the bit for any news on the band. When Kerrang magazine sent a photographer to Los Angeles to shoot us for the cover, we couldn't actually believe it. We had received press coverage in L.A. at this point, but KERRANG?! Are you kidding me?

Slash Talks Axl & Chinese Democracy
Slash heard the reports about his former bandmate Axl Rose banning fans wearing Slash-related T-shirts and top hats from the current Guns N’ Roses tour but he’s not sure he believes it.
“I give him the benefit of the doubt,” the 44-year-old former GN'R guitarist told QMI Agency Friday while taking a break from his duties at Canadian Music Week.
“I hate to think someone would be that petty, so it might be more of a rumour.
“There is a little bit of infighting between fans now, too. There’s like Guns fans who support the Axl thing and then there’s Guns fans who support the Slash thing. And God knows where it originated.
“We (Slash and Rose) obviously haven’t actually sat together and talked so there’s definitely some bad blood there but at the same time it’s been, you know, 15 years and I don’t like to perpetuate the negative stuff because I don’t really have the kind of harsh feelings for him that the media exaggerates.”

GN'R Stage Collapse Forces Rio Concert Cancellation
Guns N' Roses singer Axl Rose has released the following statement via his official Twitter account:
ATTENTION: The March 14th Guns N' Roses show in Rio De Janeiro at Apoteose Stadium has been officially canceled for this evening due to the stage collapsing because of heavy rains. Stay tuned for more info and possible rescheduling information as we receive it.
There is a possibility the show may be rescheduled for tomorrow night March 15th or at a later date. There fortunately are no fatalities but there are injuries from both our camp and Rio crews the extent of which is not known at present. The Rio Fire Dept is evacuating crews out of the venue to avoid further injuries with the heavy rains and winds. Details are just coming in. Also a truck w/part of The Sebastian Bach Band's gear has rolled on the trip from Sao Paulo to Rio what is our understanding several times and we are awaiting details on the safety of the driver at this time. Thank you for your understanding and please be safe out there. Thank you. Axl Rose-

São Paulo Concert Interrupted By Bottle-Throwing Incident
Singer Axl Rose stopped Guns N Roses' concert last night (Saturday, March 13) at Estádio do Palmeiras in São Paulo, Brazil about two minutes into the show's opening number, "Chinese Democracy", after a member of the audience allegedly threw a bottle on stage.
"Where's the little fuck over here?" Axl asked after he instructed his bandmates to stop playing. "C'mon, coward. You wanna fuck up the show for everybody? 'Cause I've got no problem — I will leave. We will all leave. You wanna play games? You can fuck yourself or we can have some fun. You guys wanna have fun? Then I don't need no little fucking pussies like we had the other night at that club. [Presumably referring to the incident Thursday night when an A-list crowd of Brazilian billionaires and supermodels rioted after waiting hours for Guns N' Roses to perform, and then learning Axl Rose and his band wouldn't play. — Ed.] You wanna fuck with me and my boys? We will leave."
Video footage of the incident is available on YouTube.

Guns N' Roses Spark A-list Riot in Brazil
An A-list crowd of Brazilian billionaires and supermodels rioted at 3 a.m. yesterday after waiting hours for Guns N' Roses to perform, and then learning Axl Rose and his band wouldn't play. The exclusive concert in a Sao Paulo club was hosted by Ana Beatriz Barros and fellow lingerie models.
"The audience got angry and started to mount the stage, and fight and destroy everything," our source said. "It was wild. There were fights everywhere, on the dance floor, in the bathrooms, outside the club. Crazy. I guess the free drinks didn't help."
You can see photos of scene at Rolling Stone Brasil.

Slash Talks Sex, Drugs & Axl
Slash gave CMW delegates what they wanted during his keyote address at Canadian Music Week on Thursday morning in Toronto: Sex, drugs, rock’n’roll ... and Axl. The former Gun N’ Roses/Velvet Revolver guitarist was surprisingly complimentary of his onetime bandmate and GNR’s lead singer, one Axl Rose.
“You have to attempt to understand him as a human being and where he’s coming from,” said Slash, 44, in his trademark black top hat, sunglasses, a black leather jacket and torn black jeans in a packed ballroom at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel.
“I see things very black and white. That’s just me. And that doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s right. And he sees things in a very colourful kind of way, and I can’t really knock it, ’cause that’s just him. So I try not to sit there and say derogatory things about his personality, because it’s his personality that makes him so f---ing great, and just difficult to deal with.”

Tommy Hilfiger Explains Axl Rose Brawl
Tommy Hilfiger sat down with Worth Magazine Editor-in-Chief Richard Bradley Wednesday night at the French Institute Alliance Francaise's Fashion Talks series at Florence Gould Hall - and the result was a powerful and beyond-fascinating roadmap into the mind of America's most iconic designer.
On fighting Axl Rose at his 2006 concert: "Axl pushed me [out of the way], and I said 'That was rude.' [He turned around and] had a huge ring on. He wears all this jewelry. [I'm thinking], if I get hit, it's over. No teeth, no eye. So I hit him before he hit me. It was self-protection. Now we're friends."
